They say you are what you eat, but in fact you are only what you assimilate and absorb. The digestive system is comprised of the mouth, esophagus, stomach, pancreas, liver, gallbladder, small and large intestine.
Although we can breathe in through the mouth, the nose is the most beneficial method for inhalation. The sinuses help to moisten and warm the air taken in and most importantly, acts like a filter as the air passes through the hairs. In order for this system to be at its best, the airways need to be free from inflammation, mucus and swelling.
